You don’t need to worry about having the keys; our team will safely load the bike using strap tie-downs at the frame to prevent any damage during transport. Whether it’s parked in your garage or a storage lot, we can coordinate the pickup to fit your schedule. Remember, the condition of the motorcycle and the timing of your donation can greatly influence its value.
What drives donation value
The value of your donated motorcycle is determined by several factors. For older cruisers, vehicle history can significantly outbalance mileage; well-maintained bikes like Harley-Davidsons often hold their value exceptionally well. Japanese cruisers depreciate slower, while sport bikes' values are closely tied to their condition and maintenance history. Custom modifications or aftermarket parts can either enhance or detract from the value. If you’re donating a classic or vintage motorcycle, an appraisal completed by a qualified appraiser is recommended for IRS Form 8283 Section B to ensure you receive proper credit.
